History:
Rufus has led the DFA for more than twenty years, and no one believes in the cause more than he does. He's tough and ruthless and shows no mercy- ever. He hates invalids with a passion. Personally he thinks the blitz needs to be repeated.
His wife was "killed" by invalids- he thinks she was killed, and in fact, he uses her death as justification for many of the awful things he does to invalids he captures (torture and curing without anesthesia not the worst among them) and as a rallying point.

Maria Doveney

History:
Maria was married to Rufus at eighteen after her procedure. She was always a good girl who followed the rules. She and Rufus joined the DFA together, and when he became leader, she couldn't have been happier. They had four children together before she was captured by invalids.
The invalids intended to kidnap Maria for ransom. But during the attempt, she was shot in the stomach. The invalids took her anyway, expecting her to die, but she pulled through. They realized that if they could cure her of the cure, she'd make a great spy. So they tossed her in a cell to rot, occasionally experimenting, waiting to develop a way to reverse the procedure. Her life has been awful, and she pretty much survives on the hope that she'll see Rufus again.

CELIA DOVENEY

History:
Celia had always looked forward to her cure, and the numb, pain free feeling after. But when she woke after the procedure, she knew something was wrong. The Cure hadn't worked on her!
She'd never liked confrontation, so she didn't say anything. She was pretty good at pretending to be cured; no one suspected. But when she turned 25, she came under enormous pressure to join the DFA. A smart girl, she knew full well that would be the easiest way to get her secret revealed. But she hated saying no more than confrontation.
She's even considering fleeing to the wilds to escape her troubles.

Albert Doveney

Face Claim: Albie Casino
History:
Albert was always a model boy. He passed his evaluations with flying colors and a very high school. He was pledged to his future bride and is currently attending college, majoring in (up to you). He was cured and the cure worked. Anything else about him is up to you.

Matthew Doveney
17 / uncured / no kids / student / single
Face Claim: Matthew J. Evans
History:
Matt was always his father's favorite, and not for lack of trying. His one talent outside of singing is sucking up to authority and although on the outside he appears angelic, he really lies like a snake. So, basically, he's the perfect candidate for leadership of the DFA (his father named him as such in his will, although if Matt knows this, he doesn't show it). There's a lot of freedom with this character, beyond what's above.

Juliette Doveney
17 / uncured/ no kids / student / infected Face Claim: Kaitlyn Dever
History:
Juliette was always rebellious, and so it wasn't really a surprise when she became infected. She wasn't quite brave enough to come out though, so she and her boyfriend stayed in the shadows. But she is infected. And she has no intention of being cured...
