The Cured The cured are, as the name implies, citizens that have been cured. They are mostly over 18. The procedure is extremely dangerous for minors, and so it isn't performed on them unless they are infected and it's an emergency. The cured can't feel any strong emotion. They like to go with the flow and follow the rules. They rarely cry or get upset.
Sometimes, about 20% of the time, the Cure doesn't work. Then, the person is still a normal citizen. Usually the government finds out pretty quickly that the Cure didn't work, and they administer it again. The danger associated with the Cure become much great each time it has to be done again. The third time the Cure has to be done, it's usually performed without anesthetic (in case the anesthesia was nullifying the effects).
Occasionally the invalids will take a cured prisoner to try to find a way to reverse the procedure. The exact treatment the cured receives varies, but it usually isn't a pleasant experience for them. LAIKA OF THQ

The Sympathizers The Sympathizers is a separate member groups from the cured, but they are very similar so they have the same thread. Sympathizers are cured that believe in the invalids' cause, but haven't fled to the wilds. If the government finds out what the are they'll be thrown into the Crypts or just killed. LAIKA OF THQ
